We’re Striding for Dad: Raising Funds for Stroke Foundation to Help Save Lives and Support Recovery!
Every day, 100 people experience the life-altering impact of a stroke. On July 14th, our dad, Bill, became one of them. In the days, weeks and months since, our world has changed, but we’ve never faced it alone.
The Stroke Foundation has been a constant source of strength, not just for Dad, but for all of us. Their guidance has helped him through the challenges of rehabilitation, offering hope when we needed it most.
Now, we want to give back. That’s why we’ve decided to take on Stride4Stroke, raising funds and awareness for the Stroke Foundation. By moving together, we hope to help prevent others from going through the same experience, to save lives, and to support those, like our family, on the road to recovery.
Did you know:
Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.
By supporting us, you'll be contributing to sustaining vital programs and resources that Stroke Foundation provides.
