As a 28 year old, I thought strokes were an old person thing.Oh, how my mind has been changed over the last 10 years. You could be a 28 year old who was hit by a car while on his bike and had a stroke while recovering from his orthopaedic injuries. You could be an eight year old girl who had a spontaneous brain bleed. You could be a 24 year old cricketer who had a benign brain tumour which caused a clot.Â
This is not an old person condition. It doesn't discriminate.
Please help me help all future stroke victims.
