I’m taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation!

Hi there, I'm taking on the challenge of Stride4Stroke and raising funds for Stroke Foundation to help prevent stroke, save lives and enhance recovery. This is so close to my heart. Stroke has impacted my Family, My Dad, my aunty, myself and more recently my Sister in Law Cass at just the age of 33. Unfortunately with Cassies deficits and lack of movement a clot was formed which led to a cardiac arrest which took her life this year ! i cant express how much more awareness needs to be done and this is why the stroke foundation is so important. Like myself Cassie knew something was not right but she too was told that it was just a migraine. We need to trust ourselves, when something doesn't feel right then it’s not.

In the next 19 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke for the first time.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime, even unborn babies. It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men. And incredibly, around 600 Australian children experience stroke each year.
