Why Stride4Stroke is close to Tom's heart
A personal and corporate journey

Stride4Stroke is a fundraiser close to my heart after losing my dad to stroke in 2014 and having close family and friends affected by stroke throughout my life.

I have also witnessed firsthand the amazing work Stroke Foundation does, and seen the benefits that awareness, early intervention, and rehabilitation can have for someone who is at risk or has suffered a stroke.

Participating in Stride4Stroke as a corporate group is a great way to raise money and awareness for Stroke Foundation, while being active and achieving something meaningful as a team.

It is a fantastic way to promote health and wellbeing through activity and collaboration, while also providing a platform to positively represent your organisation within the community.

Why your help is important

In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime.

It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.
And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.

By fundraising for Stride4Stroke you'll be helping to sustain vital programs and resources that Stroke Foundation provides, such as:
