Make moves that matter together

Stride4Stroke with friends, family and neighbours this November.
It's more fun in a team, so get your mates together. There's no better way to Stride!

Together you can help raise awareness about the serious state of stroke in Australia.

Strokes are one of the leading causes of death and disability in Australia, with someone experiencing a stroke every 11 minutes. It’s crucial that we raise awareness around stroke prevention and recovery.

Prefer going solo? No problem!
Stride on your own and still be part of a vibrant community with a shared goal.

Team of friends
A team of 10 friends make a pledge to collectively walk for 10,000 minutes in November (1000 minutes each). They all agree to start their fundraising by each donating $50 to themselves and raise $3000 as a team.

Family team
A family has experienced the impact of stroke and has decided to raise funds for Stroke Foundation as their way to help. They set a fundraising goal of $1000.

Workplace team
A company with team members across Australia, sign up as a team and put the challenge out to all staff to achieve 600 Moving Minutes in November and raise $200 each. Each donation received will be dollar matched by the company!

Going solo
A person is embarking on their own journey to get active and has decided to raise funds for Stroke Foundation to help keep them accountable.

Making moves that matter

Why your help is important

In the next 11 minutes, someone, somewhere in Australia is going to have a stroke.

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and doesn't discriminate; it affects anyone, anytime.

It claims more lives than breast cancer in women and prostate cancer in men.
And incredibly, up to 120 babies and 400 children have a stroke in Australia each year.

By fundraising for Stride4Stroke you'll be helping to sustain vital programs and resources that Stroke Foundation provides, such as:
