We know that everyone has different lifestyles, passions, and abilities, which is why we embrace a flexible approach to getting active. Whether you prefer swimming, cycling, walking, running, online classes, or engaging in stroke recovery activities - every move counts. There are no limits to what you can do!

Sign up, set your Moving Minutes goal and start fundraising.

Moving Minutes are the minutes you aim to be active in November.
For example, going for a 30 minute walk = 30 Moving Minutes.

600 Moving Minutes

30 minutes a day
5 times a week
For 4 weeks
(30 x 5) x 4 = 600

900 Moving Minutes

45 minutes a day
5 times a week
For 4 weeks
(45 x 5) x 4 = 900

1200 Moving Minutes

60 minutes a day
5 times a week
For 4 weeks

The time you spend being active is measured in moving minutes - a unique way to capture the time you spend being active. As we all have different lifestyles, passions and abilities, how you get active will look different for everyone. There are no limits to what you can do!

Stride4Stroke is not just an individual challenge—it's a chance to come together with family, friends, or workmates to make a collective impact. Participate as a team to amplify your efforts and strengthen your connections. Alternatively, stride on your own and become part of a vibrant community united by a common goal. 

Stroke is one of Australia's biggest killers and there is one first time stroke every 19 minutes, even though more than 80% of strokes can be prevented. Stroke Foundation is committed to a world free from disability and suffering caused by stroke. 

Every dollar you raise and every moving minute you log will take Stroke Foundation one step closer to preventing stroke, saving lives and enhancing recovery for more Australians.
